Before You Read the Numbers
Who this pricing is for
CEM works with Phoenix-area service businesses that need measurable growth—not monthly reports with no clear connection to revenue. This pricing is built for the $2,000–$5,000/month operator, not the $500 one-and-done buyer.

How it connects to a retainer
One site. One primary location. Up to 5 priority service pages. Right-sized for a 1-2 person operator team.
Ongoing Engagements
Typical retainer ranges
These are starting ranges, not fixed packages. Exact pricing depends on locations, site complexity, ad spend level, and channel scope. All engagements are month-to-month after the initial 90-day period.
Local SEO
$2,000–$3,500/month
Ongoing local search program for Phoenix service businesses with one primary location. The floor for a real organic growth program in a competitive market like Camelback East or Biltmore.
Most Common Engagement
SEO + Paid Media
$3,000–$5,000/month
Local SEO combined with active Google Ads or Meta campaign management. Designed for clients running a minimum of $3,000/month in ad spend (billed separately to platforms).
Full-Service
$4,500–$7,000+/month
Multi-channel execution for businesses that need SEO, paid media, landing page optimization, and analytics governance running simultaneously. Multi-location, competitive niches, or high-velocity programs.
Ad spend is always separate. Management fees cover strategy, execution, QA, and reporting. Ad spend is paid directly to Google, Meta, or other platforms and is not included in any retainer range above.
Scope Variables
What moves your number up or down
Every engagement is scoped from these five variables. Understanding them helps you budget realistically — and helps us scope honestly.
Number of Locations
A single-location business in Phoenix is the baseline. Each additional location (separate GBP, service area pages, citation profiles) adds scope. Multi-location programs run $200–$500/month per additional location.
Channels in Scope
Local SEO only sits at one price level. Adding paid media management, landing page CRO, or content strategy each adds meaningful work — and is priced accordingly. More channels means more execution hours and more QA gates.
Monthly Ad Spend
Paid media management starts at $1,000/month flat for budgets up to $5,000 in spend. Above $5,000, we add 10–15% of spend. Minimum ad budget we’ll manage: $3,000/month. Below that, the economics don’t work for either of us.
Current Site & Tracking Health
A clean, well-structured site with working GA4 and GSC is faster to build on. A site with broken tracking, poor technical health, or years of on-page debt requires a remediation phase before we can execute a growth program — that’s what the SEO Foundation Sprint is for.
Competitive Intensity
Ranking in Camelback East or Biltmore for a law firm, medical practice, or financial service takes more sustained effort than a low-competition niche. We scope based on actual keyword difficulty and local pack competition — not a flat rate that doesn’t reflect reality.
Decision Velocity
If you can review recommendations, approve changes, and provide feedback quickly through one designated point of contact, the work moves efficiently. When approvals take multiple rounds, require committee input, or stall for weeks, the engagement usually needs more coordination, more follow-up, and more timeline protection.
The Operator Loop
How an engagement actually runs
Every CEM engagement follows the same documented loop. You always know where you are, what’s been done, and what comes next.
01
Kickoff & Baseline
Goals session, GA4/GSC baseline snapshot, site health review. We establish what “better” looks like before we start moving things
02
Strategy
Keyword mapping, competitive gap review, monthly priority list. Written down, shared with you — not just discussed on a call.
03
Execute
On-page work, GBP updates, content, campaign builds — whatever the month’s priority demands. Execution happens on schedule, not “when we get to it.”
04
QA Gate
Nothing goes live without a checklist pass. Tracking events verified, copy reviewed, redirects tested. This is the step most agencies skip — we do not.
05
Publish
Changes go live. You’re notified. A change log is maintained so there’s always a record of what changed and when
06
Measure & Iterate
Monthly report: what changed, what it means, what we do next. Data from GA4, GSC, GBP, and your CRM — not just rankings.
Tracking is a launch gate, not an afterthought. GA4 conversion events must be firing correctly before any performance claims are made or reported to you. This is written into our internal standards — not just a promise. Explore our Marketing Operations & QA Systems or how we approach every engagement.
Proof of Execution
The work behind the pricing
CEM is a young agency. Here’s what the work actually looks like — not testimonials, but documented outcomes from real engagements.
Biltmore Area Partnership · Phoenix, AZ
Fixed during the board interview. Rebuilt in 90 days.
BAP came to us mid-search process. Their website was down — white screen of death. On the video call with the board, we were handed server credentials. We disabled plugins one by one, isolated the conflict, and restored the site before the interview ended. They hired us the same day.
Three months later: full site redesign, GA4 and Google Search Console integration, an event listing system with ticket sales, a rebuilt membership dues workflow, and a corrected Google Business Profile.
Camelback East Marketing · This Site
We eat our own cooking.
CEM launched publicly on March 15th, 2026. Within two weeks of being indexed by Google, we ranked #1 for “marketing agency camelback east” and other several competitive Local marketing keywords — using the same operator-style build, tracking, and on-page approach we apply to client work.
We also appear in Google AI Overviews in both the main column and the sidebar. That’s not luck — it’s the same documented process you’d get in an engagement.
Common Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Phoenix marketing agency cost per month?
For serious, ongoing work in Phoenix, most businesses invest between $2,000 and $5,000 per month. Local SEO-focused retainers typically run $2,000–$3,500/month. Combined SEO and paid media programs run $3,000–$5,000/month. Full-service engagements covering multiple channels start at $4,500/month.
If your budget is under $1,500/month, we are probably not the right partner — there simply isn’t enough room to execute a quality program at that level.
What is the SEO Foundation Sprint and who is it for?
The Foundation Sprint is a 90-day, fixed-scope project ($5,400 total, $1,800/month) that builds your local search infrastructure from the ground up — technical audit, on-page optimization for your home and priority service pages, Google Business Profile reset, schema markup, and a clean tracking baseline in GA4 and GSC.
It’s the right entry point if your site has never been properly optimized, your tracking is unreliable, or you want to see how we work before committing to an ongoing retainer. It ends automatically at day 90. Nothing auto-renews.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. The SEO Foundation Sprint is a defined 90-day project. Ongoing retainers are month-to-month after the initial 90-day period. We believe the work should earn the relationship — not the contract language.
Is ad spend included in the paid media management fee?
No. Ad spend is a separate budget paid directly to Google, Meta, or other platforms. Our management fee covers strategy, campaign build, QA, ongoing optimization, and reporting.
Paid media management is designed for clients running at least $3,000/month in ad spend. Below that threshold, the economics don’t support the level of optimization and oversight we hold ourselves to.
How long before we see results from local SEO in Phoenix?
Initial improvements — GBP visibility, tracking clarity, quick on-page fixes — are often visible within 30–60 days. Meaningful organic ranking movement in a competitive market like Camelback East or Biltmore typically takes 3–6 months of consistent execution.
We set this expectation upfront because it is accurate. Anyone promising page-one rankings in 30 days is selling something that doesn’t exist.
What is not included in your pricing?
Ad spend (paid directly to platforms), third-party tool subscriptions (Rank Math Pro, BrightLocal, etc.), link building and digital PR campaigns, large e-commerce catalog development, and full site redesigns are outside standard retainer scope.
We document scope in every engagement agreement. If something is out of scope, we tell you before we bill for it — not after.
How do you handle scope changes mid-engagement?
New work outside the agreed scope is documented and priced separately before it starts. We do not absorb undefined scope into an existing retainer. This is how we protect quality for you and for every other client we serve.
Do you work with businesses outside Camelback East and Biltmore?
Yes. We work with Phoenix-area service businesses across the metro — Arcadia, Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, and beyond. Our hyperlocal focus on the Camelback East corridor means we understand the search environment here in unusual depth, but we’re not limited to this geography.
